New Moon Notes

Astrology: Cancer - the first water sign of the year.

Cancer is ruled by the Moon adding extra emotional energetic flow to this particular moon cycle. Water is phenomenal in showing us how to take the shape of whatever container it fills. Ask yourself how can you allow the Divine Guidance of Love, as represented by Water, take shape inside your unique expression?

To dive deeeeeep into the nature of water check out Veda Austin on Robert Edwin Grant’s “Think Tank.” Water is here to hold us and support our evolutionary growth; holding within it memories of love and acceptance.

Gene Key: 39 (Provocation – Dynamism – Liberation).

39 asks us to return to the “the nature of energy that drives all children.” For me, that essence is PLAY. Remembering to LOVE challenges, living right on the edge of our comfort zone, in eternal flow and presence. For many of us we have been programmed to live in tiny little boxes and not express ourselves. Now is the time to burst out for you and the collective using the gift level of 39 is “in service provoking creativity and freedom in others.”

This new moon asks you to surrender to the flow of water, forgive what has happened and turn towards expression in the name of the Highest Order for yourself and Mother Earth.

Numerology: The digital route of the day without the year added in is 7+5=13. 13 is an interesting number as it is involves the extended astrological sign of Ophiuchus. Further, in initiatory paths, especially in Rosicrucianism, 12 individuals surround 1 to create an activation. What are you being supported in ACTIVATING this new moon?

Meditation

Last months New Moon sound creation was an act of precision striving towards something I was deeply proud of. It took much longer to create than this months as I’m leaning into consistency, and sometimes that means that the creation process is not allotted an abundance of time. Accepting this, I surrendered to the process.

The 39th Gene key is all about honoring yourself, expressing your light, and sparking creativity and a return to the essence of being a child in others. In line with this, for this New Moon Meditation, I decided to use my 3 instruments, bass, guitar, and keys performing only one take each. A steady creek from my time in the Caribbean on the island of St. John sets the backing beat. At the last minute, I decided to add vocals transmitting soft light language as I was inspired by Sky Life’s video with Activation Vibration.

Overcoming my fear of sharing raw sounds with very little editing is a challenge I'‘m happy to face!

As last month was an expression geared towards others, this month is an expression geared to honoring myself, and through this, providing my greatest service to the world.

For example, instead of “I will be successful” write “I am successful.” Further, you can take immediate action to strengthen the intention. For example, if you write “I will workout more consistently,” do a push up or some kind of movement to reinforce your writing.
